The weird thing is, I'm not really too much of an anime fan, but I'm really into Korean artists. A lot of Korean artists have these styles that are a nice blend of Western and Anime-inspired while being their own thing. I've always wanted to get down a style of my own that's something similar to that.I honestly dont know anything about anime, and after looking up the western anime style . you fucking nailed it dude. I dont know if you do Instagram or Twitter, but Id be making daily posts and tagging any and all illustrators and writers you know and like. Seriously. I follow nothing but sports and shoe related stuff and I see a good amount of people and companies asking just us normal folk to send in resumes or in your case portfolios and junk. (My buddy I grew up with was amazing at drawing, probably one of the best Ive ever seen and we all tried to get him to do it professionally and he just never had the motivation.
