It makes me sick that they feel like they shouldn't bother because: A: They're in fear for their lives from the culprit. B: They think it's somehow their fault they were assaulted (Hint: It's not) and they're too embarrassed to come forward. C: They feel like they shouldn't bother the cops wouldn't believe them if they come toward.
