Topic	Going to Endless Shrimp at Red Lobster tonight. First time. Advice?

To that end, I'd like to pick the shrimpy brains of our experts (I've seen this brought up on B8 many times). My fat ass would love advice on the following: Do I order one thing at a time, or is this like an AYCE sushi joint where I can order multiple things at once? How many shrimp typically come with a single order, do they come with a carb-heavy side, and am I obligated to eat that side before ordering more?
