To be negatively effected by just being white in America, you need to be somewhat sensitive. Not saying hate crimes can't happen to you, but when you're the least likely for it to happen to you by a large margain and you still think everyone should focus on you...eh. and there's nothing wrong with being kind of sensitive, but you should keep in mind what others are going through while people are saying things that make you feel unloved in a country that favors you in 90% of ways. (This is where you quote the first sentence of this paragraph and just argue that while ignoring the points attached to it)

When you're a minority in America, you're effected financially and have to fear that the people hired to protect you are gonna murder you instead if you call them for help.

You're not the victim when you automatically can get the benefit of the doubt from the people hired to make the decisions of who the villain is. Literally having the judge, jury and executioner all on your side. Thankfully it's shifting, but we're nowhere near the finish line and whining about people saying mean things about you online or making you look dumb (if you're a fan of diverse comedy, you realize this happens to everyone by their own communities) will never not be seen as petty and distractive in the grand scheme. Maybe put that sensitive nature you got towards caring about others.
