The first couple of episodes are ok, then it goes downhill fast IMO. It really doesn't. The central plot isn't the main plot. The entire show, actually, is basically an old western in space modeled after a Japanese program in which a Samurai defended a baby while going around and doing his job, much like a number of old westerns modeled themselves after samurai shows of the respective era. So The Mandalorian does not get worse, it just shifts its focus from the main story to other jobs and world building, with limited promise of seeing those other characters or plot points tying together by the end of the season. --- ...
