I mean, throughout the game, she was dealing with grief, anger, PTSD, but also helplessness. I can't speak fully for her motivations, but after seeing Abby, who was previously this imposing figure who wrecked her and the people she cared about, on top of killing Joel, be reduced to a husk of her former self, she already had doubts about killing her. her hate/sense of revenge came back, and that's what made her coerce Abby into their final fight, but after Ellie was drowning Abby, I think she no longer felt helpless, and she also didn't want to potentially put Lev in a similar situation, and that helped diffuse the situation. --- https://imgur.com/mApEnf3 <cite>g0ldie posted [p:955295668] in Imagine if...
