As a child I just did what I was told and didn't really understand the words I was saying, but now as an adult it's pretty horrifying. Good countries don't have to indoctrinate their children into pledging allegiance. They do it willingly out of pride and gratitude. Just sayin'. imagine saying that only to be called crazy and unpatriotic by your peers. then trying to explain it to them using real life examples, but they keep interrupting and misconstruing everything you're saying because they're too offended to try to understand. --- Never let those intent on misunderstanding you be the narrator to YOUR story!
