They're saying don't be on it 24/7, not never use your devices in/out of class again. Once again you show just how black and white your tunnel vision is.

In Post #149 I stated:

I know that not having SmartPhones at school helps with attention and avoids distractions.

You can use your Smart Phone at home, you don't need it in the class room.

I only talk about usage of Personal "Smart Devices" in class, during class time.

I've always stated that I was fine with them using whatever technology they want @ Home on their personal time is fine.

Don't waste precious teaching time in school by distracting yourself with the Personal "Smart Device" that you bring into the class room. Students are there to learn from the Teacher. Not to waste time on surfing the net or on social media.

You're the one misconstruing my message as "not never use your devices in/out of class again"

My argument was only for not using the devices INside of class. I frankly don't care what they do with said device OUTside of class.
