I got the feeling GRRM gave D&D a rough draft of how he planned to end it, but they screwed it up so badly he now has to come up with something new for the novels. GRRMs dilemma in the novels was how to get all his characters back together at the right place and time for the final book without it looking contrived considering they are scattered all over his world. D&D made his job harder because he has to come up with a different ending on top of that. --- "But who prays for Satan?
