| Evolician 06/19/21 10:06:16 AM #28: | Onward just bothers me because lately it feels like we havent had any normal fantasy movies in a long time. Not since Lord of the Rings maybe. Disney could have finally made one but instead they had to make a fantasy movie with a modern twist. They dont even do anything unique with that modern fantasy world they created. They had a dragon that behaves like a dog. Wow weve never seen a non-dog behaving like a dog in an animated movie before. And the whole sideplot with the mom was totally pointless. I think they coulda just made a fantasy movie about the two boys going on a quest to try to figure out the magic spell to see their dead dad again, but take out all modern stuff, and it coulda been magical. But no, twenty years after Shrek and Disneys still trying to recreate it. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
