Not saying your joke was in bad taste per say, but idk, thats just probably an area not suited to humor. Depends on the joke and context honestly. In order to get past the darkness of humanity, we have to shed some light on it. Otherwise we will wallow in the despair of humanity. I guess for me, it's the christianity in me. The song about jesus changing the color of the cross really resonates with me. The cross was considered the ultimate despair by the Roman's and jesus turned it into a symbol of hope. Not everything can be as easily turned but I feel dark Joke's in the right context can do that. Like pc master race, one day maybe it will be come what people think of when they here the term "master race" and not the hopelessness of nazi master race. Not saying that's why I say, but it's jsut an example.
