| WalkingLobsters 06/13/21 2:46:21 AM #6: | Just finished it. Still got goosebumps and I feel my cheeks radiating. Never experienced any story as engaging and heartfelt as this. Godots breakdown in the end was tearjerking. The whole time I was thinking why did he execute such a shitty strategy to save Maya. I was ready to dismiss the narrative for falling apart, and then he broke down and couldnt even answer that question himself. And it honestly made me question a lot of decisions Ive made in my own life, and why I took those actions, and my immediate desire for blame. Man. Honestly thought this was just a kids game with a procedural narrative solve the new case of the day. The complex storyline driven by foundational human emotions with tiered motivations all entangled together hit me like nothing else. Not even just the main story is amazing. Each of the fillers were compelling in their own rights. Rise from the Ashes and Stolen Turnabout were exceptional, and are my favorite cases tbh. Easily one of my favorite game series of all time.
