Geordi falls in love with a hologram, projects that fantasy onto the real person, then gaslights the real person into apologizing when she's rightly disgusted by his behavior. At no point does he show any kind of self-awareness or contrition. Even worse is the writers compound this gross display by having Geordi get with her in All Good Things. It's a terrible plotline that has aged badly. Barclay is redeemable and sympathetic because his proclivities are portrayed as faults. Geordi is neither of those things and is always portrayed as "the good guy". yeah thats true actually. barclays would be worse if he handled it the way geordi did, but barclay actually got better --- hi im chelsea ^__^ ...
