Are you describing America?

Parts apply to US but not near the extent as China.

Bottom right is the important graphic, the population pyramid. Their 30-54 demographic is awful. As that population begins to age more and more resources will be put towards elder care than productivity.

US has some regional water issues, but nationally it isn't an issue. US has many regions with sufficient water, China is pretty much only water secure in the south. Decent chance China and India have major disputes over water in the coming decades, though.

There is no comparing cleanliness of drinking water in US to China. More than 80% of Chinese ground water is unfit for drinking and is considered untreatable. About 20% of the US's ground water has at least 1 contaminant in and and requires treatment to be safe for drinking, I can't find what % is untreatable but it is a small %.

The real estate market there is even worse than here, most new homes being purchased are 2nd or 3rd homes not lived in most of the year. They have really funky stuff going on as far as local municipalities getting huge amounts of funding via home sales. When their bubble bursts it won't just impact owners, it will destroy entire regions.

The 996 work culture is ridiculous and unsustainable.

The US has it's own problems, they are more ideological than concrete issues like China is facing. I guess we have to worry about getting water to the South West eventually. And probably need to put sea walls on the East Coast to avoid erosion. China would be thrilled if they only had out problems.
