| Nanis23 06/04/21 5:26:59 AM #55: | The older I get, the less time I have, the more I hate RNGs If something has 1% drop rate and you do the same thing 99 times and still don't get it, it makes you the false assumption that the next time you try you will get it, right? because it's 1% chance to get! But then you realize that the next time is actually independent of the previous 99 tries and you still have 1% chance to get it the next time So you actually wasted 3 hours doing nothing, achieveing nothing. No progress whatsoever. Total waste of time I wish more games used "Pseudo-Random" like in Dota 2. The chances are lower initally but with every attempt they increase, until it proc, and then the chances reset. At least like that "wasting time" would actually make progress --- wololo ...
