Theyre paying you to do a job, that job description isnt 3 hours of work for the company then the rest is divided amongst your personal chores at home. Theoretically you get paid for a specific objective, such as flipping a specific number of burgers, or completing a specific number of corporate financial statements or whatever. Or you get paid by the hour, case in which you get paid (theoretically) for 8 hours of work. If you squeeze 15 minutes of laundry and a 10 minute walk in between certain activities but you still reviewed (correctly) the same number of financial statements or higher, or you still worked 8 hours, why mind?
