Everyone i know who has young kids will have their damn baby in the room while on conference calls. Every damn meeting there was someone stepping away or basically mute and not saying anything.

Our company required videocameras to be on at all times but there were still people who wouldnt use them and it would irritate the **** out of management.

When you're remote youre not locked in 100% into the company. Youre doing laundry, cutting the grass, taking care of children who should probably be in daycare etc

here is the thing though:

If your productivity is at 100% in the office and at 100% or even more at home, who cares if you're doing laundry or cutting the grass too?

As for the assholes bringing their babies into zoom meetings, yes, fuck them, those are the kind of idiots that cause the this is why you can't have nice things phrase
