Topic	What are the good Dragon Quest games?

I still want to play DQ3, but have always questioned which one to play. 16-bit aesthetic is always appealing to me, so considered doing the SNES version. The GBC has more, but I probably can't do the blown-up graphics anymore, especially if I'm playing it on PC or something. I may wait on the remake. Remake is probably the best bet is only for non-8bit graphics and an updated translation. The SNES is definitely worth playing over the GBC version, and I've beaten both of them. The medallion system and the boss fight with Grandragon are just a waste of time. --- I make a topic in Final Fantasy 12 to ask if Tifa! They said no Tifa.
