I turn into an asshole whenever anybody asks to check my receipt. Its one of the only things that legitimately makes me mad.

you have a person watching us at self checkout, you have another person watching that person, you have cameras, and then you want to check my receipt as I leave? You can fuck right off. I have given you my money, this is now my property. It is no longer your property.

if they are getting robbed so much from self checkout that they need this, then GET RID OF SELF CHECKOUT! Pay people to check people out!

target has self checkout, Safeway has self checkout, fuckin Home Depot has self checkout, none of them check your receipt at the door.

I have taken to doing things like handing them the wrong receipt as I walk out, or when they say can I see your receipt I just say no and keep walking, and the one time a guy really tried to stop me after I said no (he stepped in front of my cart) I threw a hissy fit and went Karen and started talking shit till the manager told me he was sorry and I left.

I know Im being irrational, I know its not the employees fault, but it literally pisses me off so much that Walmart of all places is the one that does this. They lock of their liquor, they lock up their hair products for Black people, they lock up condoms, they lock up shaving razors, they lock up batteries, they make more money than any other grocery store, they ruin communities and take advantage of their employees, and then have the audacity to ask for my receipt?
