My local one starts at like 59k, 62k if you have an MA. I know a teacher who's been teaching HS for 20 yearsish, no MA, and makes around 90k now. Extra units beyond BA + years on the job = climbing the salary schedule, and taking on additional responsibilities brings more stipends as well.
