This is not how it works anymore and hasn't in about a decade. Prices are very different throughout the country now. Minimum wage in NYC is now $15 and a McChicken costs $2.49-$3 nowadays. They used to be $1 till like 2015. Meanwhile, there was a topic a month or two ago here with tons of people talking about still having them for $1 all over the country.
