| saspa 05/15/21 5:10:38 AM #13: | I really loved Ted Danson in this, my favorite role of his by far. Everything from his lines to his excellent comedic timing. I love the reactions back when season 1 finale aired all those years ago. So many people were so upset and feeling betrayed and claiming that they "ruined" his character and all that was established, which made me lol because it actually fit perfectly with his character. And incidentally, led into the season 2 development wonderfully. The very fact that he was so fascinated with humans made perfect sense in his designing of the neighbourhood compared to just straight up penis flattening torture. Another thing that makes this show fantastic is that it literally sets up so many premises that other, lesser shows (like CBS channel crap) would stretch out for like 10 seasons, and yet this show steamrolls through them in like a single episode.
