| Topic | How come it was anti-science to not follow CDC guidelines a year ago but |
| grimhilde00 05/14/21 5:03:02 PM #2: | There are still other reasons to wear a mask personally. Other diseases besides COVID (this pandemic year was the first year for me since I can remember where I haven't gotten ill with a cough that lasts a couple months). Privacy. They look cool, I have multiple styles that are cute. They keep my face warm when it's cold out. Also variant breakthrough (though this is showing to be not an issue for hospitalization), immunocompromised, J&J and AZ not super duper effective, etc. I won't judge vaccinated people not wearing a mask now. But people can still wear one to be extra cautious if they want or for other benefits. Anti mask being a problem before was a public health risk. Still wearing a mask isn't a public health risk. So comparing those is a false equivalence. --- aka kriemhilde00 ... Copied to Clipboard! |
