I feel like a lot of people have rejected white socks in their adulthood in favor of designs and colors. Even if that color is just gray or brown. Reminds me of an investor I met while I went to an anime con, and he was in a nice suit in a wedding. He complained that everyone thought he was boring, but in actuality he had some really cool and interesting patterned socks that people just ignore.
