I've thought about it, but no. I learned to be happy in my own skin; if you're not the gender that the world thinks you are, I could see no amount of acceptance being enough. I think it's pretty brave, and I'm not being sarcastic or facetious.

I do think people need to be more aware of some of the risks, and how permanent it really is. Once you go through the op, it'd be nigh impossible to go back. And there's a significant chance you might not have an orgasm again, and that it's difficult to relearn for some people. It's one reason I get worried about kids... I know a younger girl who really thought she was trans, and decided against it later; but if she had gone too far down the road, it'd be very hard to turn back.

I think the trans community needs all the support we can give them, it isn't an easy road regardless.
