Because fucking assholes like Jenny McCarthy really started the whole vaccine awareness bullshit that spread lies that vaccines caused autism.

which led to people questioning science and believing a bullshit paper written by a discredited quack.

celebrities have way too much sway and power, when they say absolute bullshit things they really should be held accountable.

even Lebron James refuses to be vaccinated or endorse being vaccinated.

Yeah Ive been disappointed by this. If celebrities arent willing to get vaccinated, thats fine - its their choice. However, using their platform to publicly go against the vaccines is horrible.

Joe Rogan, whose primary audience demographic is 20-something year old men, said on his podcast he would advise against a 21 year old getting vaccinated. Joe Rogan. With all of his medical and public health credentials. Id imagine theres a hefty portion of his audience that are in that demographic that wont get the vaccine now. Just because he said not to.
