Especially when you're speaking on matters that can very negatively affect people's lives. You even seem to agree that he says "bullshit" yet you are downplaying it. Why? It's harmful. People don't like to be lied to. He wouldn't be popular if the people who liked him realized they were being wound up and strung along... because then they wouldn't like him. It's paradoxical. Being a successful "bullshit artist" requires people to believe the bullshit, and I don't see why that's something to be okay with. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
