| Prestoff 04/23/21 5:48:46 PM #160: | I tried giving the show a try, but it was pretty bad. Some jokes worked, but for the most part I got more annoyed watching it than laughing. TTG is another example of being too overly silly and dumb (almost all the characters behave the same for some reason), but also has some decent laughs from its "meta" jokes. With that said, I don't necessarily dislike the art style. Adventure Time was game changing for its animation style, because before then everyone was using the thick line style that you saw in nickolodean and cartoon network shows. Adventure Time's art style gave a lot more freedom in what they can do with the art style that some jokes worked because of its flexibility (figuratively and literally). It's just kind of unfortunate a lot of low budgeted shows are copying the style because it's much easier and cheaper to animate. --- DI MOLTO! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
