| Topic | UK gives charity status to a hate group |

The commission even admits they know the LGB Alliance is bi/transphobic and regularly pushes anti trans rhetoric and bi erasure but they "promised to change" so it's all good now :) But the "one saving grace" is that any charity found to be purposely excluding or working to harm someone can get in trouble/have their charity status removed. But given they are aware of their stance and actions, I'm very doubtful that any reporting of the inevitable anti bi/trans stance they take will see anything done. At least basically every LGBT charity and pride seems to have condemned this and anyone supporting this is extremely vocal in their transphobicness so I guess we'll see. Trans people are protected under our equality act, so the tiniest of slithers of hopes if they are caught it may be removed. But it's basically 0.000001% hope. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
