If only people could get this worked up about alcohol, which is the root of so much violence, property destruction, rape, broken homes, and everything else in our society. In fact, if alcohol was gone, the rate of ALL violence -- not just gun violence -- and all crime would plummet. It's too bad that KBE's shitposting can't be converted to that more productive end!
Dude, I hate alcohol, too

But unfortunately it's super addicting apparently and people will be utterly shameless and vile just to "get their fix". The U.S. tried banning it, and it just created a massive crime wave.
I'd settle for us to just punish its use and abuse more.
Taxes on alcohol have plummeted over time, we should "sin tax" the shit out of it like we do w/ cigarettes.
Likewise, a history of excessive drinking should be a factor in health insurance premiums, since alcohol use is tied to so much mortality and diseases.
Punishment for drunk driving is a fucking joke in this country, too. If you climb into a vehicle to drive and are well over the legal BAC limit, that should be attempted murder. Full Stop. Unless you actually do kill somebody, then it should be literal murder. Premeditated.
I also think there's other ways where someone choosing to drink to excess allows them to be absolved of their own poor decisions by society, but we're outnumbered by the drinkers and even going into detail on those scenarios would just get me moderated.
