IIRC, Not another teen movie was the "Second" parody movie of that time period, with Scary Movie (and maybe a sequel) being the first. Not another teen movie was kind of a reaction to Scary Movie, and then I feel like all of the rest of those dumb parody movies came out over the course of the decade after. It got really out of hand.
