Task forces, committees, commission studies, investigations that are many months out have always lead to a quiet "no" because that is their only purpose. To politely tell you no. If it was something they had even a 1% interest in doing they would not have some committee quietly kick around the idea for them all year. They'd be using their platforms to shout the positives of it.
I mean, not always: look at Obama's Budget Deficit Commission for an example of a commission that had real impact, even though it didn't ultimately lead to policy changes despite Obama's best efforts.

But this one? Biden has repeatedly demurred on the subject, and Speaker Pelosi is against the idea: it seems exceedingly unlikely that Biden is appointing people to the commission that are going to recommend big changes, because neither Biden nor the other people in power in the party are interested in fundamental changes. At the very least, I'll believe they are when I see it.
