| Kolibri X 04/15/21 12:18:02 AM #54: | The first sentence tells a lot. They've oversaturated the market. That and unlike other fast food establishments they're not drive-thru ready for The Pandemic. The good thing about owning a Subway is they have very little overhead. They don't need a lot of cooking equipment or staff and the base ingredients are cheap. For this reason they were popular with immigrant franchise owners who instead of opening a costlier and risky restaurant serving ethnic food would instead run a Subway and make a comfortable living being sandwich artisans.
