I totally pissed her off when I called her out for exaggerating things to bolster her argument for why they won't help me (ex. she claimed it was "close to 5 years" out of warranty, it's not even 3 years out, her demeanor completely shifted as soon as I said that one), so I basically said that Nissan's had to settle a court case in the US for this and is currently facing the prospect of one in Canada (that it will absolutely lose) so they'd rather forcibly pay out more later than actually attempt to build goodwill and get ahead of it? The same company that has already had to extend powertrain warranties for premature cvt failure in older generations of vehicles? And she said "Yeah like you said it's pending so we'll only go by the warranty". --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
