Target is a big supporter of the police. The theory is to make Target etc put pressure on the police to do better; if they cannot protect businesses and/or continue to cause riots by murdering people, those businesses will close that location. Less revenue for the city, that gets politicians attention. It's a pipe dream and won't solve the problem, but since actually convicting murdering pigs is clearly off the table, it's about all they have. Looting/rioting isn't just what it seems at face value. I'm not defending it but Jesus christ what else can people do? Literally the only thing that even gets people talking --- "You go. I'm just going to stare at the lake and think about how I almost just killed a baby." ... Copied to Clipboard! |
