I say superficial because it's not like i've bothered to learn the language. there's just something really neat about the direction and getting to see a parallel evolution of western fairy tale roots for a while i was helping host parties, and putting a playlist of 70s/80s eastern european films or cartoons on a silent screen was always a hit --- You did indeed stab me in the back.
