Well first I guess let me apologize for coming off crass cause Im just jaded as all hell but honestly there are discrepancies within the Bible but to what extent and for actually what Im not sure. In truth its useless to try and make what you believe out of the Bible applicable to someone else because something like Christianity is personal between you and God How you chose to interpret the base values given within a particular context within that book is up to you - I guess you can have a hang of murderers try and use the word to justify their actions but that would be too far from the spirit of things actually said in the Bible in that alone you know there is good and bad - some form of morality established not only by action, but things like the actual redundancy of slaying someone else in the case of the Bible and that particular passage its clear we live in a society so Ive seen older versions state that passage as something else and for me, thats how I guess Ill reconcile what I choose to believe in outta the religion --- ...
