Jesus' parents have nothing to do with same-sex relationships. Adam and Eve don't either, the entire point was to create humans who could reproduce. same-sex couples do not, obviously, but that doesn't have anything to do with the morality of anything. etc. seems like you're trying hard to read it into the text. you know that people used to do the same thing with literally everything else society liked in the past, right? they always try to piggyback/cherrypick the holy text in their culture to justify their own evils/hatred. because it sounds more impressive when "God is on my side" is the reason for bigotry meanwhile notice how the people who are so fine-tooth combing for anti-gay sentiment, never seem to say a peep about taxing the billionaires more or the love for money which is the root of all evil. seems priorities are skewed for another reason beyond what the text really says or doesn't say What do you mean it doesn't matter? literally that is how God made the world and how God chose to enter the world as man.
