The counter argument would be that conservative children are more likely to rebel against the strict religious rules during their formative years, so theyd grow up embracing a more secular worldview. The counter to that is that this is not the case. I grew up JW and I was the only who had the guts to up and leave in my teens. Anyone else who left did so in their 20's.
