Ignoring all the bad takes in this topic, TC I think you miss a core aspect of the Zelda series.
Each new game as a new central thing that they play around with. This central thing is often movement/exploration based, and is really what the whole game revolves around.
* OoT - jumping back and forth between the same world in two different states * MM (my favorite) - time sensitive AI and world * WW/PH - sailing * ST - a more limited version of the sailing with the hope that they could ad more structure by limiting movement more * TP - transforming into a second state to explore the same area through a different lens * SS - two worlds that are interconnected + flying * BotW - unstructured story via letting the player choose their own path
I could go on and just list every Zelda games core thing, but I hope you can see from that list that it does fall in line as a Zelda game.
Literally four of the titles in your breakdown share the same core "thing".
