Professional cuddlers are a big thing for years in Asian countries like Japan and Korea, where a lot of people especially men are lonely. It's not a sex thing and considered an important service, and there are male cuddlers also. BBC World Service did a whole documentary on it a few years back, this is nothing new. I guess in the decadent west where its only sex sex sex, this kind of service makes no sense to you ridiculous people.
