Not true at all. 4k is acceptably playable without AA. 1440p is not acceptable without AA.

Playing without AA is the pinnacle goal, as games look incredible. Unfortunately 4k is the only resolution we can really play without AA, with 8k being the true end all be all. Even 4k still needs a little AA, but Im willing to accept the flaws for the incredible sharpness.

Majority of gamers dont even understand this concept, theyre in la-la land because theyve been playing 1080p 1440p games with AA for the last 15 years. Theyve forgotten just how blurry the picture is with AA enabled, its a cancer to visual fidelity.
