Topic | Reddit is at peak cringe when some internal political drama happens |
pinky0926 03/25/21 9:38:56 AM #1: | Like how recently they employed someone they shouldn't have (dodgy background shit) and then le redditeurs reacted by shutting down all their communities as some kind of freedom fighter stand for unity against the establishment (of course, none of the communities that matter. Just the weird fringe ones. And it was like 6 hours, so I guess if you really like /r/trashy or whatever then that would have been a mild bummer) And then, when reddit subsequently fired this person and made the announcement that they fucked up, redditors show their anger by upvoting critical comments and gilding the posters. In other words, we are so angry at you reddit that we are going to flood you with money. https://www.reddit.com/r/announcements/comments/mcisdf/an_update_on_the_recent_issues_surrounding_a/ Look at these commenters, acting like they are part of a special judicial oversight committee and totally not just people who's "job" is posting cat pics --- CE's Resident Scotsman. https://imgur.com/ILz2ZbV ...
