She didn't do that for the artistic merit or the clout. She did that so people could see the emotional and physical toll of what a miscarriage can do to a potential mother. Whenever you hear of a miscarriage, it's after the fact and it's like "Oh that's said" but that's usually the extent. Most people don't actually see it first hand.
