Fluticasone propionate isnt the same as acute nasal decongestants, it's a corticosteroid. Like I said already, it's supposed to be used long-term. As in for weeks or even months. It doesn't instantly unclog your nose, but instead it gradually reduces inflammation and helps build up your sinuses resistance to irritants.

It used to be prescription, but a couple years ago it was switched to OTC, so now you can buy it (and non-name-brand versions) anywhere.
