If I put an original Xbox game disc in my series X chances are it will play just fine, maybe just need to download an update. It would be awesome if I could just pop ps1-3 games into a ps5 and onwards and have them play as well. I went and bought a copy of the Original Red Dead Redemption to play on my Series X and it worked flawlessly.
