So Conde Nast, which, if you are unaware, is one of the largest global media corporations in the world & has been active for over 100 years. They publish major circulars like GQ, Vanity Fair, & Vogue. I find it hard to believe that a company of the stature of Conde Nast did not engage in proper vetting before appointing someone to be editor of one of their major magazines. So they were not blindsided by unearthed tweets. They were fully aware, hired her anyway, but the twenty-something staffers didn't want to work with her, combined with the unfortunate timing of the aforementioned-in-this-topic fashionable caring about racism against Asians being en vogue (pun intended) sunk her chances. --- ...
