The thesis of the article isn't "star wars is a perfect movie", it's "the star wars movies were targeted by alt right parts of the internet" Also if you acknowledge there are people disliking it for racism/sexism then how can you also say the writer is reading into something that isn't there. Also I don't see how you can say they're reading into something that isn't there when they straight-up posted loads of examples of it on multiple social media sites, usually with tens or even hundreds of thousands of views. --- Talking about video games? it's ok to just disagree with each other on the internet.
