We expect people to take risks all the time for society and take risks all the time for convenience, pleasure or just living. Even if it was the vaccine the chance of death is absurdly low. Lower then many things she likely did daily or in the recent past. Lower then many things expected of her by society. Several magnitudes lower then the chance of death by covid or even the average flu.
