The stimulus payments are meant to both be actual economic stimulus and financial relief, and the amounts given dont do shit to adequately provide for either. $3200 to last practically a year, and nearly half of it only started to show up literally yesterday. It isnt equivalent to UBI; not in the timeframe it was disbursed, the amounts given, nor in its purpose.
